No thanks--I'll stick with Firefox. At #2, it has the popularity to attract well-crafted extensions. It's not perfect--not even Safari or Opera can make that claim--but it's damn good. I'm not sure why we have the Firefox hate all of a sudden.
god all you guys are tossers firefox is better than any of ur crappy browers least its fasters, it blocks unwanted stufff, it was first for tabbed browsing where as tossers IE cough ocugh copied every single fucking thing each time you only need to look at IE 7 to see there just tossers who copy everything and IE 8 is even more of a copy need i say more oh yes btw firefox has only done what two browsers and on its 3rd where as tosser from IE have taken 7 times to try to get it right and every time they have cocked it up the onli bad thing bout firefox is that sometimes it doesnt load pictures but hey its onli there second attempt which is more than i can say for IE

silence wench!!!!, and actually ull find that firefox intrudeced it first in its first version fire fox 1 and was made in november 2004 opera didnt introudce it b4 the evenone just copies the idea and claims it as there own and if u beleive they did then u just carry on being spoon fed by the media and as marxist would say you are all passive and weak
and also it won best browser 3v years running i dont see IE or Opera with those luvly rosettes stamped to them as much as mozila
opera is out dated just liek IE all left in the past tooo roat so ye you keep it cos in the end firefox will smoke them all and with version 3.0 and 4.0 any other old browser will die soo bye

Firefox 2 is well, not that good, I'll give you that. But Firefox 3, from what we are able to see from the betas, will be the fastest most reliable browser out there, second only (maybe) to safari in web standard compliance and with the most awesome USP out there: totally customizable. It's also a lot lighter, and, even though it's not as light as, say, Opera, it's lighter than most and all memory leaks are off.
I'm sorry, but Firefox rules.
I use Safari for general browsing, email and media viewing and Opera for torrent downloading and online shopping. Fx and IE both suck.
Seriously, though, you guys are all wrong about tabbed browsing. The first browser to use tabbed browsing was BookLinks' InternetWorks in 1994.

I dont understand why in the hell you would try to gun down firefox. You can say its shit if you like, but dont be an asshole. If you think its SOOOO horrable why dont you download the source code and make it better? You call firefox bloated when microsoft pushes IE up everyones ass. IE is a joke for god sake. its spotty security record shows that. You can hate firefox, but dont start an organization about it...
Sooo, in short, firefox is better than IE, and suck my left nut.
Opera is probably the best browser out there. FF have good extensions and all that, but opera have those as well now, so there's no reason not to go opera? =)(Although FF has a bigger "extension community") Opera is faster, safer, follows the w3c-standards better, has built-in IRC-client, fast torent-client, etc.
Opera did NOT invent tabs, i believe that the avant browser did long ago, but it was porbably really slow at the time, so it weren't that popular.
Bloated software? Explain exactly what you mean by that, the installer is only 7 megabytes for the newest version. This site has absolutely zero relevance. Hating something for the sake of hating is never a good idea.
